Biography

Georg Krogmann was a member of the German soccer team at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. He played for Holstein Kiel as a right or center half, winning the German Championship in 1912 against Karlsruher FV 1-0, after they lost the final two years earlier against the same opponent by the same score. He earned three international caps. Krogmann was still a student when, while serving with the 61st Infantry Reserve, he was killed-in-action in 1915 in Poland.
