Biography

Gyula Király first played in the colors of Nemzeti SC, then from 1927 in the BSzKRt team. Starting from 1931 he played 35 times in the Hungarian amateur national team and the Budapest amateur national team. As a member of the Hungarian amateur team, he participated at the Berlin Olympics in 1936, but the Hungarian team was eliminated from the tournament after a 3:0 defeat to Poland in their first round game. When his football career ended, he continued to serve his club as a coach.
