Mundt played for the successful side HVV (The Hague), that won several titles at a time no Dutch internationals were played. After a spell in the United States, he was made captain of the Dutch team in all four caps that he played, including the Olympic semi-final match. He later served on the committee of the Dutch football federation that elected national team players.
