Biography

Irving Davis played briefly with the US national team in 1924-26, his last game on 27 June 1926 in a 1-0 loss to Canada. His first cap was at the 1924 Olympics in the US victory over Estonia. Davis played professionally with the Philadelphia Field Club of the American Soccer League (ASL) from 1924-26. He later played for Fairhill FC. Davis worked much of his life as a weaver in carpet mill or factory, Archibald Holmes & Son.
