Douglas Turner

Douglas Turner competed in both singles and doubles in the 1904 Olympic tournament. He played one non-Olympic, or demonstration, event during the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Turner competed in the Louisiana Purchase Open Singles, winning one match.

It is possible that Douglas Turner is one Douglas Barlow Turner, born in St. Louis in September 1883, died in Kirkwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, in May 1959, and the owner of Turner Plastic Company in St. Louis. However, in genealogy research there is no definite connection to him as a tennis player or as a 1904 Olympian.
