Biography

Together with his brother Luigi, Carlo Costigliolo was a member of the Italian gymnastics team that easily won the all-around event at the 1920 Olympics. Costigliolo retired soon afterwards, and became a trainer at this club, Genova’s Cristoforo Colombo. He also was active as a judge, and attended the 1932, 1936 and 1956 Games in that capacity.
