Biography

Louis Rathke competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (104th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (114th); the individual all-around, field sports (=55th); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (11th). Rathke represented the Milwaukee Turnverein. He worked as a life insurance salesman in Milwaukee. Rathke never married and died without issue.
