Biography

William Tritschler competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (55th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (61st); the individual all-around, field sports (=59th); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (5th). William was one of three brothers who competed in 1904 gymnastics for the South St. Louis Turnverein, along with Richard and Edward. William was the oldest brother, by 10 years over Edward, and worked as a printer.
