Biography

Willi Remer was the best placed German modern pentathlete at the 1932 Olympics, finishing fifth in the individual event. He was, like Konrad Miersch, a policeman in Berlin and became Obersturmführer in the Third Reich within the Reichssicherheitshauptamt (Reich Security Main Office) and the Gestapo in Berlin and Oslo. After the war he worked as a police inspector and was never charged for his war crimes.
