Otto Babiasch was an East German flyweight boxer affiliated with Berliner TSC who competed at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. After a bye in the first round he defeated Japanese Shuta Yoshino in a very close decision 3-2. He was soundly defeated in his quarter-final against Bob Carmody of the USA. Babiasch was East German champion in 1961, 1963, and 1964.
