Biography

Hans Jørgensen was a member of the coxed four crew of Københavns Roklub at the 1912 Olympics. In 1919, he went to London and joined the newly founded United Baltic Corporation (UBC) shipping company. He worked in the accounting department, later becoming head of the department.

In London, Praem was active as a fencer in the Salle Tassart-Parkins. He represented Denmark in the foil and épée team events at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928. In 1939, he won the foil tournament for the Coronation Cup. Praem retired from his company in 1958 and died after a long illness.
