German rower Markus Vogt was on the squad of the coxless fours at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, when Slovenia took bronze by edging out the Germans in a photo finish by a margin of 0.15 seconds. In 1991, he was on the crew that won the bronze medal at the World Championships.
Markus’ sister Miriam Vogt was an alpine skier participating in the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympics. Markus became an entrepreneur involved in consulting executives.
