His original name was Mladen Miogradovic. During his high school years, he competed in swimming for the FTC. Later, he preferred rowing and competed here under the name Mladen Mihó and then Miklós Mihó. In 1935, as a competitor of Hungária EE, he finished in second place in the Hungarian championship in the single sculls, but his real successes were in team boats. He became national champion in 1934 and 1938 in the coxless fours, and in 1936 in the coxed fours. At the 1936 Berlin Olympics he finished fifth with the same team. In 1937, he was fourth at the European Championship with the Hungarian eights.
In the 1940s, he ran a car rental business under the name Miogradovic, then Monostori.
