Biography

After winning the bronze medal in 1932 Antonio Ghiardello was fourth with the same boat in 1936. In 1926, 1927 and 1931, he was European champion in the coxed fours and in 1934 third with the eights. In 1928, Ghiardello could not qualify at the Italian trials due to appendicitis. He later became a coach, spending two years in Brazil at the beginning of the 1950s.
