Biography

Anatoly Tarabrin took up rowing in 1952 after enrolling at Leningrad State University. He won the coxless fours bronze at the 1960 Olympics and coxless fours silver at the 1961 European Championships. Tarabrin was also the Soviet coxless fours champion in 1960-62 and coxed fours champion in 1963. He later worked as an engineer.
