Biography

Carlie Geer made the 1980 US Olympic team that did not compete, rowing double sculls with her sister, Judy Geer. In addition to her 1984 Olympic single sculls silver medal, she competed at three World Championships, rowing double sculls in 1981 and quad sculls in 1982-83.

Carlie Geer graduated from Dartmouth College in 1980, where she was coached by her sister, and later earned a masters’ degree from Tufts University. She then worked as a nutritionist at the University of Vermont for 32 years, before retiring in 2019.
