Patricia Obregón was a Costa Rican archer who competed internationally in the early 1990s. In her bid to qualify for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Obregón set several national records in the recurve bow to secure her place at the Games. In Barcelona she placed 57th in the ranking round, with only the top 32 progressing to the next phase. Through to the 2024 Games in Paris, Obregón was the last Costa Rican archer to compete at the Olympics. In addition to competing and teaching the sport, she was also a noted sculptor, with her work Monument to the Sportsman on display at the sports facility at the main campus of the University of Costa Rica.
