Biography

Rowing the fifth seat for Cal/ Berkeley until his graduation in 1932, Dave Dunlap won an Olympic gold medal and was on the winning team at the 1932 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Regatta. After college, Dunlap earned an LL.B. degree from the law school at Berkeley, later becoming an attorney in San Francisco. Dunlap was Cal’s biggest oarsman, weighing 86 kg at 189 centimetres in height.
