Jason Gailes won a silver medal in quad sculls at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He also won a silver medal in the quad at the 1995 Pan American Games. Gailes competed at the World Championships in 1993-95.
Gailes rowed in college at the University of Rhode Island. After the 1996 Olympics he joined Lehman Brothers, starting a career in the financial world. He later worked for UBS, BMO Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, and West Coast Equity Sales.
