Biography

Edward Ives rowed at the University of Washington, graduating in 1983 with degrees in history and international business. He competed at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, winning a silver medal in coxed fours in 1984. Ives won gold medals in eights at the 1987 Pan American Games and the 1986 Goodwill Games. He competed at two World Championships, 1985-86, winning a bronze in eights in 1986. Ives stayed in the Seattle area where he worked in real estate.
