Hunter Lott rowed for the Vesper eight while he was a medical student at the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Shortly after the Olympics he earned his M.D. degree and practiced in Philadelphia as an otolaryngologist. He eventually became a professor at Jefferson, specializing in diseases of the ear.
