Biography

A 6-1 (1.85), 170 lb. (77 kg.), bow-oarsman from the University of California, Marvin Stalder also rowed on the eight that won the IRA Regatta in 1928. Stalder later became a career military officer, joining the US Army, and then the US Air Force, after they separated from the Army. He retired as a colonel. Stalder eventually died in Texas from metastatic stomach cancer.
