Biography

Marino Facchin was an Italian boxer who fought at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He won Italian titles as a featherweight in 1932 and as a lightweight in 1933. Facchin’s greatest international title came in 1934 when he won the European Championship. After the Berlin Olympics, he won another European medal in 1937, a bronze. Facchin then turned pro but fought only 8 bouts, with 7 in Italy and 1 in Switzerland, finishing with a career professional record of 3 wins (1 by KO) and 5 losses.
