Edvard Bacher was Finnish trap shooting champion in 1909. He was trained as a furrier in Germany in the late 1880s. After his return to Finland he joined the family’s fur and hat business and later took over its management. Over time, the company produced 65 types of students’ caps. In 1903 he married Hedvig Eleonora Sandin.
