Biography

Both Peter Morgan and his wife Pat were excellent rifle shooters and regular winners at Bisley. The runner-up to Arthur Skinner in the 1960 British Small-bore Rifle Championships, Peter went on to enjoy success in the National Small-bore Rifle Association Grand Aggregate competition at Bisley. He won the event in 1963, was third in 1964, and was runner-up in 1965 and 1966. During that run of success, he went to the 1963 European Championships in Oslo, the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, and the 1966 Kingston, Jamaica, British Empire and Commonwealth Games, were he finished fifth in the 50 metres small-bore event.
