Biography

Small-bore rifle shooter Bernd Rücker participated in three consecutive Olympic Games. At Seoul in 1988 she represented West Germany, and she represented re-unified Germany at Barcelona in 1992 and Atlanta in 1996. His best result was the seventh place in the prone 50 metres event at Seoul. In 1994, Rücker was the individual world champion and team bronze medalist. He won several national titles, and in 1982 and 1984 also won the Youth European Championships.
