Biography

Mariano Antonelli was an Italian shooter who specialized in the small-bore rifle. He competed at the 1960 Roma Olympics, ranking 35th in the English match. His career highlight occurred when he placed sixth at the 1958 Moskva World Championships (588 points). He also took part at the 1959 European Championships in Milano (21st in a field of 70) and was 34th at the 1963 Europeans in Stockholm. Antonelli won the 1959 Italian title in small-bore rifle, three positions.
