Biography

Charles Jeffers shot free rifle at the 1908 London Olympics. At the time he was a first sergeant in the US Army, serving in the 8th Massachusetts Infantry, Company D. Jeffers was a veteran of the Spanish-American War, and was eventually buried in the Spanish-American War Veterans Lot at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, Massachusetts.
