Marianne Humpelstetter was an Austrian swimmer who participated in the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) Olympics. She failed to advance to the semi-final of the 100 metres backstroke. At the time of the Olympics, she was only 15-years-old. A fortnight after the Games she was more than half a second faster at the Austrian nationals.
