Biography

Edmund Pader was an Austrian freestyle swimmer who participated in three events at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He was eliminated in the heats of the 400 and 1,500 metres as well as with the 4x200 metres relay squad. During World War II he joined the German Waffen-SS and was killed in action in 1942 as an Untersturmführer in Russia.
