Biography

Austrian swimmer Gerhard Wieland was nominated for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He swam in the heats over 100 metres freestyle and 200 metres backstroke but failed to reach the second round. He later won several medals at Masters European and World Championships, and set several Masters records.
