Biography

Aurora Chamorro swam the 100 metre butterfly at the 1972 München Olympics. She was a 30-time Catalonian Champion, winning 11 titles in the 100 fly and seven in the 100 free. Chamorro also won 28 Spanish titles. She set Spanish records 10 times and Catalonian records 14 times.

Chamorro won two medals at the Mediterranean Games, with a silver in the 4x100 free relay in 1971 and a bronze that year in the 100 butterfly. She was capped 39 times with the Spanish team, including at the 1970 European Championship and the 1973 World Championships.
