Biography

French competitive swimmer Claire Horrent represented EN Tourcoing in the 1920s. Horrent was a two-time national champion, winning the 100 metres backstroke in 1927, followed by the 100 metres freestyle in 1928. Her performances earned her a place on the French Olympic team for the 1928 Amsterdam Games where she came fifth in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle relay.
