Biography

Haydn Rigby finished fourth in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×220 yards freestyle relay (with Peter Head, Ronald Roberts, and the non-Olympian Donald Bland) as well as fourth in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 3×110 yards medley relay (with Ronald Roberts and the non-Olympian Peter Jervis). Rigby also finished sixth in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 110 yards backstroke and fourth in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 110 yards backstroke. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games he competed for England.
