Biography

West German swimmer Ulrike Klees finished fourth, and was eliminated, in her 200 m breaststroke heat at the 1972 München Olympics. She later studied psychology and sports psychology, and became one of the most popular sports psychologists. After her retirement, she was the mental coach for female swimmers of the West German national team for several years. She worked with several high-performance sports people, and musicians. She also worked as a lecturer with the Bavarian State Opera.
