Biography

At the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics German swimmer Herta Wunder came in fourth with the 4x100 freestyle relay. She set two world records in the 500 breaststroke in 1930 (8:40.8) and 1931 (8:32.0). Wunder was a trained clerk and later also worked as a professional swimming coach. In 1934 she married water polo player and coach Robert Fey (*1911).
