Sarolta Stieber

Sarolta Stieber was a versatile athlete. She began her sports career as a figure skater, later she swam in the colors of the MAC, but in addition to the swimming, she also played hockey. She won a World College Championship in swimming in Paris and skating in Budapest. In 1928, she took part in the Amsterdam Olympics, where she competed in the 100m freestyle. After her sports career, she was a professor at the University of Physical Education and the coach of the Hungarian women’s swimming team. In the latter function she took part in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. In addition to her sports career, she also earned a degree in chemical engineering. After World War II, he emigrated to the Netherlands, where she returned to his first love of figure skating and participated as a judge at the 1956 and 1960 Winter Olympics.
