Biography
Rei Takemura was a Japanese freestyle swimmer. Takemura swam in the 100 metres freestyle at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. She finished in seventh place in her heat and did not advance to the semi-finals. Takemura was also part of the Japanese team that swam in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle relay.
