Biography

Paul Lambotte was an art historian and became Director General of Fine Arts in Belgium. He was also appointed Government Commissioner for Fine Arts Exhibitions. He wrote numerous articles and books on visual arts and artists, including books on English and Flemish art and painter Peter Paul Rubens.
