Biography

West German Manuela Dachner placed sixth as the best female German archer at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics in the individual event. She also won recurve team medals at the World Championships with silver in 1983, and bronze in 1985. In 1986, she added another team silver at the European Championships.

Dachner won the national title in 1981 and 1983, and after winning her third title at the 1988 German Indoor Championships she retired and qualified as a physiotherapist.
