Biography

Scott Donie won an Olympic silver medal on platform at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and then competed on springboard at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He was a bronze medalist on platform at the 1992 Universiade. Donie attended Southern Methodist University, graduating in 1990, where he was a three-time NCAA Champion, and an 11-time Southwest Conference Champion.

Donie became a diving coach, starting as an assistant coach at the University of Miami from 1993-96. In 2000 he became head diving coach at New York University, serving in that role for over 15 years. He coached multiple divers to D-3 All-American honors and was named UAA (University Athletic Association) coach of the year several times.
