Biography

Larry Dowler won a silver medal in the 100 metre breaststroke at the 1975 Pan American Games, before swimming the same event at the 1976 Olympics. Dowler was second in the 100 breast at the 1975 AAU Championship and placed third at the 1976 Olympic Trials. He swam for the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 1977, and the Arlington Swim Club.
