Biography

Bruce Hunter just missed a medal at the 1960 Olympics, placing fourth in the 100 metre freestyle. Hunter graduated from Cambridge Latin School in 1957, and then Harvard in 1961. In 1960 he was ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) champion in the 100 freestyle. After serving in the Navy, Hunter later returned to Harvard, earning an MBA in 1974. He also continued competing in masters swimming, representing the New England Masters Swim Club (NEM) and earning over 30 top 10s in various meets.
