Biography
Steffi Schmidt was on the East German volleyball team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics that won the fifth-place match against Brazil 3-1. She also won the European Championships in 1987. Schmidt won several international caps with East Germany. She played for Berliner TSC (until 1990) and CJD Feuerbach after re-unification in 1990.
