Czechoslovak volleyball player Milan Čuda started his career as a youth player with RH Praha before joining their senior team in 1959. With the team Čuda won the national title in 1966 and then joined České Budějovice in 1968, winning the Czechoslovak Cup in 1972. From 1961 to 1965 he was also part of the Czechoslovakia national team and won silver at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Čuda played in two matches during the tournament, with his brother-in-law Boris Perušič also being part of the squad.
After his playing career Čuda worked as a youth coach from 1980 until 1992, winning multiple youth competitions in Czechoslovakia. In addition to holding several positions in volleyball, including as a manager, secretary, and chair. Čuda was also involved in football as an official for the Czechoslovak Football Association and the chair of the South Bohemian Football Association. In 2012 he was honoured with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to volleyball.
