Biography

Tammy Webb-Liley played at Arizona State University, where she was known for her dedication to strength and conditioning work. In addition to her three Olympics appearances, and a bronze in 1992, Webb-Liley won two medals at the Pan American Games, a bronze in 1987 and a silver in 1995. She also helped the US win gold at the 1995 Canada Cup, and competed at the 1990 and 1994 World Championships, winning bronze in 1990. She competed internationally for the US from 1987-95, and in 1993 was named USOC Female Volleyball Athlete of the Year. She also played on the beach and in 1994 was named to the Bud Light Pro Beach Volleyball Tour all-league team as a member of the 1994 champions, Team Sony Autosound. Webb-Liley played for Racing Club de France in 1991-92.
