Biography

Sándor Ádám started his sports career as a swimmer with MUE in 1905. From 1910, he competed both in swimming and water polo in the colors of FTC. Between 1910-13 he won four national titles, playing alongside his brother Aladár. Sándor played for the Hungarian national water polo team three times, including the 1912 Olympics, where they finished fifth. Sándor fought in World War I, and suffered serious injuries. In 1925, he became an honorary member of FTC, and worked for the Hungarian Swimming Federation, as well as being a water polo referee.
