Peter Asch played on the U.S. team that won the 1971 Pan American Games title and, after his bronze medal at the München Olympics, he won a silver at the 1975 PanAm Games. Asch graduated from Cal/Berkeley in 1971, joined the Bank of America Corp. and later became president of one of the group subsidiaries.
