Biography

Rick McNair played college water polo at Stanford where he was a three-time All-American. McNair played for the US national team through the early 1990s, appearing at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and earning 115 caps. McNair also played professionally in Italy for two seasons. He won a gold medal at the 1995 Pan American Games, and at the 1991 Universiade. He also played at the 1993 World Cup and the 1994 Goodwill Games.

McNair later went into investment banking. While playing he appeared in the 1994 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and also was in a “Baywatch” episode with a few of his teammates.
