Biography

Austrian weightlifter Wilhelm Flenner won medals of each colour at European Championships: 1951 silver at light-heavyweight, 1953 gold, and 1954 bronze, both at middle-heavyweight. Flenner also participated in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics where he was placed 14th in the light-heavyweight division. Domestically, he represented SC Wacker Wien (Vienna).
